Tonight I made the decision to take cacao out of my diet. I’ve take it out at different times throughout the years. There are lots of antioxidants/superfood benefits and it gives me a little happy boost which is nice. But…it doesn’t help with adrenals. I am committed to optimizing my adrenal function so therefore I am taking out all cacao for the next 30 days. #lifewithoutchocolate #Icandothis 😉

Mama Laughs: I was writing some notes in my office and I heard my son making some noises in the kitchen. It sounded like he was eating the blueberries and chia that was sitting on his little table. I let him do his thing while I wrote down my ideas.
Then, I went in to check on him and his hands were purple from blueberries. He told me he mashed the blueberry and chia together with his hands. “Tastes better”, he said. HA! of course it does! So awesome! Gotta love little ones creativity. 🙂
Body Goodness: I think I’m on the mend. My eye is getting better. YAY for natural healing remedies. I’m still feeling lethargic and my lymph nodes are working overtime. But, at least my face isn’t super swollen. I got an acupuncture treatment and he said that my sty might be die-off/liver detox from all the powerful herbs I’m taking. I’m gonna go with that story. Detoxing, baby!
Gratitude & Appreciation: I am grateful for my new books on healing that I received. I am grateful for my daily gratitude practice. I am grateful for clean water to drink. I am grateful for my acupuncturist and the treatment I received this evening for my eye. I am grateful for my husband’s support w/ E while I was at my appointment. I am grateful for the beautiful sunny day today. I am grateful to live in such an amazing place. I love our community. I am grateful for my journal. I grateful that my son naps so that I can take naps.
Any Mamas out there who have 2 or more young children? Please give tips on how you do it all ? 🙂 #supermom
